Mother-daughter team, Susan & Francesca DeLaurentis, launched D.O.P. Kitchen as a natural extension of their love for food, hospitality and entertaining. 

It is old family lore that when Francesca's father expressed an interest in marrying Susan over 35 years ago, his mother demanded that she first learn the family tomato sauce recipe.

Italian cooking is their passion, as is using ingredients that are sustainably minded and conscientiously procured.  In Italy, families cook with what's in season and what is local and at D.O.P. Kitchen, the same tenants are applied when an imported product is not available. 

Food and family are the focus of life in Italy and they are the focus of Susan and Francesca's lives. The food they cook is the food they love to serve their families and their hope is that D.O.P. Kitchen will become a part of your family traditions moving forward.
